The practice was created in 1994 to provide accountancy, taxation and business advice to small businesses. We do not employ any other staff, nor do we sub-contract any of our work. This does limit the number of clients we can act for, but it also means that David is fully aware of every clients' situation at all times. We now act for a whole range of businesses throughout Cornwall, from small part time ventures to large corporate businesses.

We invest heavily in technology and high end software. Our tax software is used by many of the top 100 accountancy firms. This allows us to compete technically with the larger South West firms, although with no large offices or company cars our fees are much lower!

We are based in Cubert near Newquay. From here we serve clients in the local area as well as clients in Truro, Bodmin, St Austell, St Mawes, Redruth, Probus, Padstow, Wadebridge and Bude. We also act for several businesses based in London with Cornish connections.

David & Rebecca Wright
David trained in West Yorkshire with a small but well respected firm of Chartered Accountants. He remained with the firm for some time after qualifying until his marriage to Rebecca in 1991 brought him to Cornwall. After working for a large West Country firm he decided to form his own practice in 1994. Rebecca joined him in the business, but following the arrival of Matthew & Katie she has now reduced her hours. David's outside interests include circuit training and coaching the Cubert school football team. He has been a  trustee of Young People Cornwall for many years and has been chair for 3 years. Rebecca is also actively involved with local charities.

Malcolm Leslie
Malcolm (Rebecca's dad) took early retirement from his business just as Matthew & Katie arrived. So as Rebecca was wanting more time with the children Malcolm found himself at a loose end, perfect timing! Malcolm now works part time helping with the bookkeeping for several clients. His main interest is rugby and he is a long standing member of Rotary.
